Range

New York State Distribution

Widely scattered throughout New York south of the Adirondacks. New York is near the northern edge of the range.

Global Distribution

This parasitic plant occurs in almost every state from the West Coast to the East Coast except for Wyoming, Vermont, and Maine. Its northeastern limit is reached in New York and New England.
